Welcome to Old Garden Tools collection of Childrens Tools. We have laid our images out in museum style so that you may concentrate just on the images without any other distractions.
In the late 19 century and early in the 20th, as a boom in gardens and gardening took off, the rich aspired to endow their children with a range of sophisticated garden tools such as child sized wheelbarrows, lawn rollers and even cutting edge tools like hedging shears and lawn mowers. Later, these tools were manufactured in greater numbers and became more utility. Many of the antique and vintage garden tools pictured below in the garden museum are fine objects and very rarely found.
